Throughout this year, we’ve experienced a dreadful pandemic, floods, hurricanes, fires, racial division and mass killings of innocent people. It’s still hard to understand why we have to go through such tragedies in this world.
People are hurting and don’t know where to turn from the loss of community and loved ones. We are still asking ourselves where God is in all of this?
“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” Isaiah 41:13
We know that God says in His word that he’s with us, but how do we accept the tragedies and turmoil in this world when it’s never-ending? Simple…
He’s given us his people.
We’ve seen time and time again that people will step up and help one another in these trying times. There are countless stories of others providing food, shelter, money, blood and even their own lives to help those in need.
Ultimately, God has a plan in place that will overcome good over evil so He can get the glory!
In this four-week study, we are thanking God for YOU in his word! We will read, write and meditate on scripture that gives God thanks and appreciation for you.
When our backs are against the wall, we find out just how strong we are as human beings who stand together for good.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4
Let’s reflect on friends, family and even strangers that God puts into our lives as angels – verse by verse, word by word.

I originally created this study Nov 2017 and wanted to share it again. What a better way to give thanks to God for his people every year!
This study was created with Thanksgiving in mind, however you can complete this study all year! Now’s the time to invite family, friends, co-workers, study groups or whoever you believe would benefit from this study for the next 4 weeks!
