Day 1: Growing in faith, Salvation
- Read Ephesians 2:8-9 and Romans 10:9-10.
- Discussion:
- What do these verses teach you about the role of faith and grace in salvation?
- How does salvation impact your identity and purpose as believers?
- Have you ever struggled with fully accepting God’s grace? How did you overcome that struggle?
- Reflection: Take a moment to reflect on your own salvation experience and thank God for His grace.
Day 2: growing in faith, Prayer
- Read Philippians 4:6-7 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
- Discussion:
- Why is prayer important in the life of a believer? Share about a time when prayer made a difference in your life.
- How can you cultivate a consistent prayer life amidst busyness and distractions?
- What are some hindrances to effective prayer, and how can you overcome them?
- Reflection: Spend time in prayer, presenting your requests to God and expressing gratitude for His faithfulness.
Day 3: Reading the Bible
- Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Psalm 119:105.
- Discussion:
- Why is the Bible referred to as the “Word of God”? How has Scripture impacted your understanding of God and His will?
- Share about a passage of Scripture that has been particularly meaningful or challenging for you.
- How can you develop a habit of daily Bible reading and study?
- Reflection: Choose a passage to read daily and meditate on throughout the week. Share insights or questions that arise from your reading.
Day 4: growing in faith, Trusting God
- Read Proverbs 3:5-6 and Isaiah 41:10.
- Discussion:
- What does it mean to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding?
- How do fear and anxiety hinder your ability to trust God? How can you overcome them?
- Share about a time when you experienced God’s faithfulness in a situation where you had to trust Him completely.
- Reflection: Reflect on a situation where you struggled to trust God. How can you surrender control and trust His plan?
Day 5: Living Out yOur Faith
- Read James 1:22-25 and Matthew 5:16.
- Discussion:
- How can you bridge the gap between knowing God’s Word and living it out in your daily life?
- What are some practical ways you can be salt and light in the world, as Jesus described?
- Share about a time when your actions aligned with your faith and made a positive impact on others.
- Reflection: Identify one practical step to live out your faith today and share how you plan to put it into practice.
Day 6: Seeking God’s Will
- Read Romans 12:2 and Proverbs 3:6.
- Discussion:
- How can you discern God’s will for your life amidst the noise and distractions of the world?
- Share about a time when you sought God’s guidance and how He directed your path.
- What are some obstacles or misconceptions that hinder you from seeking God’s will wholeheartedly?
- Reflection: Spend time in prayer, seeking God’s will for a specific area of your life. Listen for His voice and trust His direction.
Day 7: growing in faith, Growing in Grace
- Read 2 Peter 3:18 and Hebrews 4:16.
- Discussion:
- How does God’s grace empower you to grow and overcome challenges in your faith journey?
- Share about a time when you experienced God’s grace in a difficult circumstance.
- How can you extend grace to others in your life, even when it’s challenging?
- Reflection: Reflect on how God’s grace has been evident in your life. How can you extend grace to others in the same way?
